MRS. LLOYD V. MARR
Margaret Catherine Belle Marr was horn i n Chippewa,
Ontario, on A p r i l 14, 1883. She received her education i n
Chippewa and l a t e r worked there as a secretary. She moved
to the Dakotas where she taught school. It was during this
period that she met her future husband, Lloyd ¥. Marr. She
returned to Ontario f o r three years and then came west. She
was married i n Calgary i n 190? and settled with her husband
on a homestead i n the H i l l s i d e d i s t r i c t near M i l l e t.
Mrs. Marr was a member of the Mother's Club and when
this club became an Institute i n 1917 she was one of the
