F i r s t World War, she strove to hold the branch together by
combining the work of the two organizations. Her e f f o r ts
were not i n vain.
While l i v i n g i n Medicine Hat she was an active member
of the University Club and of the Women's Auxiliary of
the United Ohurch.
She was presented with a L i f e Membership i n the A l berta
Women's Institutes i n 1952 i n recognition of her t h i r t y -
f i v e years of f a i t h f u l service to her branch - the donors being
the Walsh branch.
She passed away peacefully on September 7, 1955,
leaving to mourn her passing her two sons: F. Lt. John Schroder
of the R. C.- A. F.- and Raymond Schroder of Toronto. Mr. M. S.
Schroder followed his wife i n death on A p r i l 1, 1956.
