Mrs. Seheidegger has acted as secretary- treasurer of
the Ohaton ¥. 1. for a number of years and also held the pos
i t i o n of director as well as assuming convenerships of
standing committee work. She was the f i r s t leader of the :
Ohaton G i r l s ' Club when they were known as ' Mother's Helpers'.
She served as secretary f o r both Sedgewick and the newly formed
Ohaton Constituency.
Her family consists of two sons and three daughters.
Her eldest daughter, Mrs. C. Omoth, was leader of the Ohaton
G i r l s ' Club for eight years. One daughter, Marie, won a t r ip
to Bozeman, Montana, representing the Ohaton Club and another
daughter, Doris, won a t r i p to the National Club Week i n Toronto.
A granddaughter, Barbara, i s following In the family's
footsteps as a member of the Ohaton G i r l s ' Club.
Mrs. Seheidegger has taken an active part i n the work
of the United Church i n the Ohaton community serving as secretary-
treasurer f o r some twelve years. She was a member of
the Women's A u x i l i a r y for twenty- five years, r e t i r i n g with a
L i f e Membership i n that body.
Mrs. Seheidegger was presented with a L i f e Membership
i n the Alberta Women's Institutes on August 19, 1954 by her
branch, Ohaton W. I., on the occasion of the 35th Anniversary
of the branch.
Mr. and Mrs. Seheidegger r e t i r e d to t h e i r cottage at
Ma- Me- 0 Beach i n 1956. Mrs. Seheidegger continues her community
work having joined Falun W. I. and Ma- Me- 0 United Church.
