I n 1937 they moved to the Champion d i s t r i c t i n A l b e r ta
where they s t i l l r e s i d e . Mrs. Ilnudtson joined the Champion
Women's I n s t i t u t e the f o l l o w i n g s p r i n g . She i s a very j o v i al
person, capable but modest, and Is ever ready t o l e n d a h e l p i
n g hand wherever i t i s needed.
Her hobbies are q u i l t making and gardening, e s p e c i a l ly
the growing of f l o w e r s of which she has many v a r i e t i e s.
I t was at the home of Mrs. Adam Ferguson that a s p e c i al
g i f t was bestowed upon KateKnudtson. Mrs. E l l a Sisson, P r e s i d ent
o f Champion W. I. presented her w i t h a L i f e Membership P i n
and C e r t i f i c a t e i n r e c o g n i t i o n o f h e r many years of f a i t h f u l
help and guidance to Champion Women's I n s t i t u t e . The date was
September 1957 at the annual b i r t h d a y p a r t y of the branch.
