Mrs. McLaughlin was the secretary of the school divi
s i o n f o r many years, f i r s t with the Cypress Division centred
in Irvine and l a t e r she became the secretary of the Medicine
Hat School Division. She has been a member of the Red Cross
for over t h i r t y - f i v e years, taking an active part i n r a i s i n g
funds and supplies during the Second World War.
She i s the mother of three sons.
Mrs. McLaughlin was presented with her L i f e Membership
i n 1951 by Irvine Women's I n s t i t u t e , the f i f t h member i n Alberta
to be given this honor.
