and has served as Steward and Elder of the M i l l e t Church.
She has given much time to sewing f o r the l o c a l Red Cross and
has been active i n many other community projects. At the Ins
t i t u t e Conferences she has been a consistent prize- winner f or
her handicraft.
Her energy, enthusiasm and business a b i l i t y have been
invaluable to the M i l l e t Women's Institute. In token of their
appreciation f o r her long years of a c t i v i t y for the welfare of
the community, the M i l l e t Women's Institute presented her with
a L i f e Membership i n the Alberta Women's Institutes i n August
1954.
