Mrs. D. V. Patterson has served the A l b e r t a Women's
I n s t i t u t e s f o r many years with c r e d i t t o h e r s e l f and w i th
honor t o the o r g a n i z a t i o n.
She joined as a Charter Member o f Grande P r a i r i e W. I.
i n 1924 and h e l d various o f f i c e s i n h e r branch. She became
Constituency Convener i n 1932 and t h i s marked the beginning
of an ever- widening f i e l d f o r Mrs. P a t t e r s o n . She was next
P r o v i n c i a l Chairman of L e g i s l a t i o n and I n t e r n a t i o n a l R e l a t i o ns
