that the Old Chief W. I. was organized i n 1951. Since then she
has worked t i r e l e s s l y f o r the I n s t i t u t e . She has held the p o s i t i
o n of P r e s i d e n t , V i c e - P r e s i d e n t , Secretary said Treasurer i n the
branch and Standing Committee Chairman o f C i t i z e n s h i p , Education
and P u b l i c i t y on the Constituency l e v e l . For two years she did
the p u b l i c i t y work f o r Southern A l b e r t a . Her present engrossing
i n t e r e s t i s the A. W. I. Idea Book which she and Mrs. Myron Kemper
of Coaldale have agreed to compile from m a t e r i a l c o n t r i b u t e d by
a l l the branches i n the Province.
In 1962, making last- minute arrangements on her own, she flew
to the A. C. W. W. Conference i n A u s t r a l i a . She spent three weeks
v i s i t i n g the branch l i n k , Broadwater C. W. A. i n V i c t o r i a and the
remainder o f her two and h a l f months l e a r n i n g more about the workings
of the C. W. A.
She has always been a very active worker i n the community and
i n the United Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Rinehart celebrated t h e i r 50th Wedding Anniversary
on January 23rd, 1962 when a l a r g e gathering o f f r i e n d s and
neighbors at J e f f e r s o n School paid t r i b u t e f o r t h e i r many years o f
s e r v i c e i n the community.
Old Chief W. I. presented Mrs. Rinehart with a L i f e Membership
on November 2 9 t h , 1963 a t t h e i r r e g u l a r meeting which was a l s o her
8 l s t Birthday.
