MRS. LILLIB E. EOS3ITER
L i l l i e E. White was horn i n Shaftsbury, Dorset, England
f \, on Eehruary 11, 1878, the daughter of E l i z a b e t h and Harry White.
Before her marriage she worked as a model i n London, England.
She married Reginald R o s s i t e r on June 19, 1902, and came t o Sedge-wick,
Alberta, some twenty- five years l a t e r where the couple made
t h e i r home u n t i l 1939 when the E o s s i t e r s moved t o Edmonton. She
was widowed i n 1946 and i n t h a t same year she moved t o S t . A l b e r t
where she has s i n c e resided. Mrs. R o s s i t e r has three c h i l d r e n,
eleven grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Mrs. R o s s i t e r has a l o n g record of Women's I n s t i t u t e membership,
being a member of the W. I. i n England before she came to
A l b e r t a . She j o i n e d the Sedgewich branch i n 1928 and served as
corresponding secretary f o r one year. She joined the S t . A l b e r t
branch when i t was organized i n 1946 and i s an a c t i v e member through
v / entering k n i t t i n g , crocheting and other c r a f t s a t the c o n s t i t u e n cy
