MRS. OTTO NEMAN
Mrs. Otto Neiman was " born E l l a Schamuhm i n 1890
near Portland, Oregon.
In 1895 she came with her parents to l i v e on a
homestead near Leduc. She received her education i n one
of the f i r s t r u r a l schools i n that d i s t r i c t . In 1917
she married Otto Neiman and came to the Angus Ridge dist
r i c t where she joined the newly organized Angus Ridge
Women 1 s Inst i t u t e.
She has taken her place as president, secretary
and chairman of Household Economics. Many a time during
the early days this f a i t h f u l member rode horseback or
walked to meetings when the roads were otherwise impassable
.
