Topic was " R e - o r g a n i z i n g the School Year".
Mrs. L. Northey, C o n s t i t u e n c y Convener, a l s o was a guest. She
spoke on " A d v e r t i s i n g ".
P i n e Lake W. I. b i r t h d a y month. Mr. Harvey A l l e n from the Lacombe
E x p e r i m e n t a l S t a t i o n was guest speaker and touched on v a r i o us
a s p e c t s of the business of a g r i c u l t u r e.
Dug up the Almey Crab t r e e a t the W. I. corner. This was won
by Mrs. C. Lawrence through a draw. We p l a n t e d a Mountain Ash
i n i t s p l a c e .
Mrs. C. Lawrence was delegate to the P r o v i n c i a l B i e n n i e l Conv
e n t i o n i n Edmonton. Mrs. J . Warke was a l s o sent as a v i s i t o r.
Guest speaker was Mrs. C. Mortimer, S o c i a l S e r v i c e r e p r e s e n t a
t i v e .
