M i l l i e Munro i s a l a d y w i t h a r t i s t i c and m u s i c a l a b i l i t y . She has been our
s e c r e t a r y f o r two years and keeps books f o r t h e i r Pine Lake Sand and Gravel Co.
M i l l i e and l y l e have one son, two daughters and two g r a n d c h i l d r e n.
H a t t i e Moschenross has been our best non- member worker. We have f i n a l ly
persuaded her to j o i n our branch t h i s year! She i s our U. S. C. k n i t t e r.
H a t t i e has g r a n d c h i l d r e n i n B. C.
Ginny M i l l e r i s our newest member and l i v e s w i t h her f a m i l y on the Harve
Cowlthorp place. Ginny and E a r l have f o u r c h i l d r e n : M i c h a e l , Joy, Linda
and Steven.
And then there i s the Roy Brown f a m i l y : M a r j o r i e 20 years; twins Douglas and
Debra, 18 y e a r s . They have completed t h e i r h i g h s c h o o l.

T h i r d meeting event took place August 14 at the home of Mrs.
R. C l u t t o n when t e n Burnt Lake W. I. members a t t e n d e d . The guests were presented
w i t h home grown f l o r a l corsages.

" Operation E y e s i g h t " - C o l l e c t i o n of eye g l a s s e s to help prevent
b l i n d n e s s i n d e v e l o p i n g c o u n t r i e s.
C o n s t i t u e n c y H a n d i c r a f t Tea on May 4 to which 38 a r t i c l e s were
submitted. 147 p o i n t s were t a l l i e d w i t h three o u t s t a n d i n g a r t i c l e s : Macrame
handbag ( Mrs. E. M i l l e r ) ; Tea cosy ( Mrs. D. S c o t t ) ; Men's l i n e d f o r t r e l j a c k et
( Mrs. R. Brown).

t h r i l l e d to be asked to provide ten minutes of entertainment f o r June 19.
