of $ 5, S3 and $ 2. Winners were
Mrs. J. MacBeth, Highway
W. I.; Mrs. W. F. Harvey, and
Mrs. C. Mortimer, Balmoral

; leaf buns, Mrs. O. G. Vogel of
Lacombe W, I. placed first; Mrs.
C. L. Northey second, and Mrs.

The business of the conference
was lightened with a comedy
skit during the morning session
presented by Mrs. R. Baehler
and Miss Louise Maga, home
from university i" or the summer.
They performed their musical
antics on behalf of the Poplar
Ridge W. I., who were responsible
for entertainment.
Prior to tea time in the afternoon.
Dr. C. R. Bunn gave an
interesting account of his recent
visit to Africa and showed a
beautiful selection of slides to
tell a picture story.
On behalf of the courtesy
committee. Mrs. J. S. Jaryis
thanked everyone for their participation
in the conference and
a special Lhanks to Mrs. L A.
Northey for her work as conference
secretary.
