- 2- Federated Women's Institutes of Canada sent us a note thanking us for the support of the Hoodless Homestead Upkeep Project. The communication said in part " thank you to all those members who answered our appeal. Because of your generosity, the Homestead was self- sustaining for the first time in years." The Hoodless Homestead is the birthplace of the founder of Women's Institutes. We also wish to thank everyone for helping with the FWIC Literacy Project. In this mail- out your will find the following items. Home & Country Provincial Dues Statement Branch Secretaries Annual Report Form Alberta Women's Creative Writing Competition Form President's Newsletter, and New Handicraft List Please call the office at 488- 5282 if you have not received any of these items. I extend our best wishes to each of our members and families for the Holiday Season from your Alberta Women's Institute Council, Maxean, Mildred, Kay, Olga, Marcella, Bernice and Josephine and your Executive Director, Mae.
