Of Prime Importance is an A s s i s t a n t Resolution Chairman, who should be in
place to help the present one with Resolutions b y January 15, 1993. This
person will take over the Chairman's position after the 1993 Convention.

you are i n t e r e s t e d.
We also need Provincial Educational Conveners f o r Education 6. Cultural
A c t i v i t i e s , Environment, Health- Home Economics and Social Services and
International A f f a i r s . These are appointments and i f you are looking f or
an interesting challenae send your name to t h e President of A. W. I, before
A p r i l 15, 1993.
Members at Prov. Convention registered an i n t e r e s t i n b u y i n g an A. W. I. Cream
and Sugar. We ask those who wish to purchase a set to make a firm
commitment to the office by sending i n the form enclosed with this
newletter. They are made of t h e same china o u r mugs are i n . Cost $ 19.00.
They will not be mailed out from the office but can be picked up at
workshops, conferences etc.
As we often stress, PLEASE SUPPORT YOUR ORGANIZATION - ALBERTA WOMEN'S
INSTITUTES and i t s r e q u e s t s f i r s t.
This year we would like to remind you of t h e Alberta Coalition Against
Pornography, it i s a dedicated group working on behalf of a l l , women and
c h i l d r e n especially.
The Manitoba Women's Institutes mentions donations would be appreciated f o r
the Fountain on the Canadian Side of t h e Peace Gardens. Have you seen the
slides available from FWIC of t h e Peace Gardens? Really worth while.
The Provincial Office will be looking into an ACWW project and hopefully we
can give you information b y January. Please read the article i n t h e next
Home 6 Country regarding o u r last project.
We mentioned there may be an increase i n t h e cost of Home & Country next
year. The Home & Country pays for itself as f a r as t h e p r i n t i n g goes but
not for the postage. In o r d e r to cover the postage, there will be an
A. W. I. CRAFT SALF at the 1993 P r o v i n c i a l Convention. It i s felt that we
loose s u b s c r i p t i o n s from members every time the p r i c e goes up. The Home &
Country i s a n important link with our members.
