SPECIAL EVENTS & AWARDS
Vera Jennette Pierce passed away January 26, 2006 at the age of 96 years. Branch
members were honoured to assist the family by serving lunch at the funeral February 3, 2006. The charter
member was honoured at the Constituency and District meetings with a short history of her life and contributions
to the community Her name was also submitted to be entered into the Provincial Book of Memories.
Past member Blanche Mitchell passed away October 14, 2006 at the age of 93 years.
It was a delight to have Blanche attend our 50t h branch anniversary in April 2006.
Teressa Greening was saddened by the death of her father, Leo Wesley Campbell
December 13, 2006 at the age of 80 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Audrey, on December 23, 2005.
Marilyn and Lewis Wattenbarger welcomed and new granddaughter December 2, 2006.
Proud parents are Calvin and Jennifer Wattenbarger.
