In 1945, Lady Tweedsmuir, wife of Lord Tweedsmuir who was Governor
General of Canada, donated three silver cups to Federated Women's
Institutes of Canada for competitions to be held each triennium.

Anyone winning the same category of the Tweedsmuir Competition for
three consecutive trienniums is ineligible to compete in the
following triennium.
COMMUNITY HISTORY

Regulations:
1. This is a project for an individual Women's Institute member.
2. It is to be a pictorial tour.
3. Each picture to be described as to its history or interest.
4. Not more than 20 photos ( color please).
5. Pahlboutmo. s and descriptions to be placed in a neat folder or
6. Descriptions may be typed, hand- written or printed.
7. Name and address of the entrant and her Institute should be
placed in a sealed envelope and attached to the inside of the
back cover.

Overall presentation of material - 50 points
Information contained - 30 points
Interest aroused to visit - 10 points
