Even though the peace mo
vement has grown stronger it

to peace work And yet it is
the only possible way for a
writer and journalist who re-ali- zes
his responsibility
Not in the sense that we
should reinforce illusions and
impossible impractical ideas
However: realism does not
signify succumbing to hope-lessnes- s7
A writer has two
possibilities: either to use his
talent to depict cynically in
black-and-whi- te or to work in
the interest of removing artifi-ciall- y
created ideas about non-existe- nt
enemies in the interest
of strengthening friendship and
confidence
" Wars are born in the hearts
of people" - as an idea it sounds
a bit idealistic The most pro-foun- d
reason for war is in-just- ice
But without doubt pre-paratio- ns
for war are a subject
of human thinking
As a writer I set my task
here to intervene and to fight for
a more just and simultaneous- -
lsn't it annoying the way some
people go right on taking when
you're interrupting?
