is to go down to 10 deg-rees
above tonight
OUT school is having a Christmas
Concert this year on the nineteen-t
h and twentieth o j December.-^ We
are having two concerts because our
auditorium isn't big enougb for a l i
the parents to come there at once;
The program includes dancing,
choir singung, ttmibling, baton' twir-l
i n g square «dancmg and plays.
Only certain rooms are putting on
plays. Our room i s n t ; I 'm i n one of
the choir groups.
Nearrchristmas our Guide :Com-pany
wiU be going carroliing to A l -
co Hospital, which is a hospital f or
the aged. We are a l i donating 5 0
cents and we'U buy something for
them. We w i l l alse be having a
Christmas^NParty .for our parents
to attend. Each patrol w i l l put on
ten or twenty minutes o f entertain-ment.

Our social Studies i n grade se-ven
is very interesting. It i s h i s -
tory. We are taking up the Heb^
rews and Phoenician at present Af­ter
that we take up the Gteeks and
then the Romans. I like social
Studies very much.
Sihce I had plenty of free time
today I finished embroiderihg a
table c l o th and later on I made muf-fins.
The muffins were quite good-
Then I went outside and got my
boots f u l l of snow and had to come
back i n again.

i t was evening, my mom pulled th4
blinds down again. "Then a l i t t l e l a -

~the blinds down?" Then l looked
at the b l x l s and started laughing
and she finally realized that she had
pulled them down. One night she
was searching for her reading gfasi
ses and she had themon. Fm for-getful
too, sometime..

We have had very poor weather.

weeks. /For about a week we had
fog most of the day and every night
It tied the traffic up and everything
moved at a much slower pace. ; -;
On December 23rd the annual
Christmas concert w i l l be held." We
of the Sparkettes Club w i l l be p u t
ting on a play called " A Christmas
for Maragret". There will also be
some individual items,;, and
course. Santa, Claiis. It w i l l start at

We have had a club meeting
every Saturday because we have to
practise our play. r think some-one
already mentioned when our
Christmas concert w i l l be held. B u t
just to make sure 1'11 inention it
again. It is on December 23rd and
I hope lots of people w i l l come;
We had our tests at school last
month and I*dtd pretty well i n
them. I had m y thfarteönth birtiulay
on November29th. Time*suregoes

~ Our good friend F a n n y L i n d had
quite an experience. Someone f e ll
asleep at tl}e wheel of t h e i r car a nd
the car bumped yight into her
house moving a bit out o f place.
The car would have gone right
through the house i f i t had^ not
been for the cement steps; She has
to moveout untH the house is ifated.
The weather hasnt been very
nice these days. Last week,'it .WBS
so foggy that you couldn't see very
