To Going Badk to School
Dear Irja-täti:
My family and I went to Kashc
Lake for two weeks on our holidays.
We had fun swimming and
playing.
We went J p visit-^ some friends
at Clear Lake for a day. Öur friends
have a cpttage there.It was about
60 miles from where we were slay-ing.
We had to go a little way on a
boat because their cottage was on
an island. - —
We swam across Clear Lake and
back. My dad didn't think wc couid
swim that far but we did.
I met Irja-täti at Tarmohr and
I was, very pleased to meet her^
I am looking forward to going
back to school. I wili be in gradc
6 this year. I hope ali the olhci-children
like school also. I wi]l
write some more next time. Good

coach/but you can make a lovcly
necklace with it's seeds, or with
the seeds of a cucumber, vege-table
marrow or even shiny whitc
beans. :
Unpainted pumpkin seeds turn. a
beautiful golden coiour and the
lighter seeds can be painted any
coiour you wish.
Use a darning needle to make
a hole. and then string them on
nylon bead cord.
If you have a broken string of
beads you can thread them on uh
ternately with the seeds.
But what if you havcn't aiiy
seeds?
You can still make an attractivc
necklace by tying knots ali alojig
a string. It does not maltervjir
they are not exactly the same dis-tance
apart, or the same size. ,.|
When the necklace is long enough
ask Mum for some naii varnish''to
paint the knots. They will look like

vahvisti viime viikolla, tiedot, joiden
mukaan etelä-ufrikkalaistuti
lentoyhtiöiden on muutettava ieiilo-reittejään
Angolassa sijaitsevasta
Luandasta pohjoiseen suikntautuvil-la
linjoilla.
Mauretania, Algeria, Egypti, Sudan,
Etiopia ja Libya ovat kieltäneet
eteläafrikkalaisia lentokoneita
lentämästä näiden maiden ilmatilan
kautta. Kiellot merkitsevät,
että eteläafrikkalaiset koneet eivät
voi matkallaan Eurooppaan lainkaan
lentää Pohjois-Afrikan kautta.
Eteläafrikkalaisista ilmailupiireis-tä
kerrottiin uuden reitin kulkevan
Johannesburgin, Brazzavillen.J^uati-dan,
Kap Vernen saarten ja f^ssd-bonin
kautta, ja se lisää lentomatkaa
noin 50 prosentilla.
