Alderman John Flesch Is seeking re-elect- lon
in wafd 6 for a second consecutive
term in the forthcoming election.
Mr. Flesch says, "I have obtained my
first term objectives of thoroughly learning
the mechanics of City Hall, and servicing
not only the residents of Ward 6, but the
people of Welland In general". Alderman
flesch feels that his perfect attendance
record for regular council meetings speaks
for itself. He said, "My constant availabili-ty
to the residents of Ward 6 to meet and
discuss their various problems is reflected
by some of my achievements for the area
during my first term".
Alderman Flesch is once again perso-nally
conducting a door-to-do-or campaign,
and invites the voters„of Ward 6 to present
their questions and problems to him.
During the last two years on Council,
Alderman Flesch has served on the fol-lowing
committees — Public Works Dept.,
Planning Dept., Library Board (as the
Mayor's Representative), and the Parks,
Recreation and Cemetery Board.
Prior to the 1976 election Mr. Flesch was
a member of the Port Colbome Jaycees,
Welland Kinsmen, Niagara District Traffic
Club, Canadian Industrial Traffic League',
and Past Chairman of The Dain City
Recreation Activity Centre.
John and his wife, Christine, are resi-dents
of Ward 6, reside at 48 Springfield
Street, Welland.
